Apostolos Dianellos lives and works in the mountainous area of Grevena and the wider region of Western Macedonia. From a young age he has been living in nature, but a milestone in his life was the contact with the mountaineering team of the Ski Mountaineering Association of Grevena. He is a Forester, a member of the H.O.O.A. Mountaineering Schools, a Skii Instructor from Κ.Ε.Ο.Α.Χ. of the Greek Special Forces, a Mountain Escort of the French CRET, a Rafting Guide of the H.A.T.T.A. and a member of the rescue team of the prefecture. He has worked at times in the Forestry Department of Grevena, in research on bear activities with the W.W.F, in the Ski Centre of Vasilitsa, in the preparation of many studies for the development of mountain tourism and the protection of the environment of Western Macedonia.

His main occupation is the organization of nature programs through the company OVERLAND with emphasis on environmental awareness and education in Valia Calda for visitors and teachers. Through this ongoing contact with nature and activities he has been able to frequently photograph the National Park at all times of the year over a period of 15 years. As part of his education and continuous search, he has climbed to the summit of Mont Blanc, 4807 m, the Matterhorn and other smaller peaks in Greece and abroad. Today he lives permanently in the mountainous region of Grevena and is always close to those who listen to the distant voices of the landscapes that call to them.
